Today's earthquake and a discussion few days back about role of Rahu in India's destiny prompted us to post this piece.
Last July 31, we posted a small piece titled "Destiny Numbers, (in)Famous events,places etc"
(Read original article by clicking on it). This was followed by numerological analysis of Discovery Mission strangely on August 4 where we mentioned about troublesome numbers 4 and particularly 8. In that list of 8 we did not mention important people like L.K Advani, Uma bharti ,Gautam Goswami who have been unlucky with controversies surrounding them and are actually by name turn out to be number 8 persons. Today's earthquake adds itself to list of traumatic/catastrophic events that have occurred on dates 8 or 4.
( september 22, 256 point fall of sensex?).
Role of Rahu in Indian history. This is different theme than numbers but equally interesting. Rahu , often dreaded like saturn and signifying masses ,outward manifestation of religion among other things is placed in India's lagna or house signifying the body and comletes one turn in around 18-19 years. 1947, 1965,1984, 2002 were years when Rahu had moved into India's body. What is special about these events?.
1. 1947- partition and massacre of Hindus and Muslims
2.1965- war with pakistan and heavy (?) casualities
3. 1984: Assasinationof Mrs Gandhi and massacre of sikhs
4.2002: Godhra and its aftermath
The two themes of blood bath and "communal/religious nature" is common to all these four events.1947 was particulalry bloody possibly because of presence of other malefic planets along with Rahu at that time . Ofcourse a great deal of research is required because other factors are at play and many traumatic events have occurred since Independence outside these dates - some worse than the four mentioned here. But there is clear evidence that 18 year transit of Rahu brings serious trouble for masses.
Why we have not analysed Rahu, 18 year transit over other houses? One reason is that Rahu is present in India's first house signifying the body and therefore its results would in most cases be strongly felt in "physical events" such as the ones related above.
