For Friday October 7,2005 Our Intra Day Dow Industrial -Nasdaq Prediction was

"Today could be turn-around day for dow-nasdaq. Morning and last two hours could be volatile and although we normally do not predict net gains or losses, today dow-nasdaq could end up with gains. During last two hours of the day a sharp fall and sharp rise is possible and also in morning dow -nasdaq could rise fast amidst volatility. ( see strategies) ".

Review: How the day really turned out

We predicted net gains which proved correct but we expected much more gains. Morning session was quite volatile and both indices really ran up in morning as predicted. Further sharp fall came close to 2pm especially in NASDAQ but recovery was not that significant except in NASDAQ. In view of negative reports on jobs (?) perhaps this was a significant gain. ( NASDAQ in relative terms gained five to six as much as DJIA).

All 3 recommended strategies ( second strategy is mentioned within the first one) would have given some profits unless SL was liberally used
