Our Summary Prediction for October 4,2005 was

"Dow Industrial likely to rise quickly and reach day’s highest point ( or close to it) in the late morning. Second half of the day may be more volatile and sharp fall ( loss of gains ) in the afternoon followed by recovery is likely in the late afternoon"

Review: What actually happened

After a weak opening the index reached day's (almost) highest point around 12 noon though the dip after 11 am was not mentioned in our prediction. As predicted the sharp fall of over 120 points from day's high point came in the afternoon. Hence both our recommended stratgeies would have given profits especially the second one. However there was no sustainable, significant recovery after the afternoon fall hence our third high risk strategy would have failed.
