"Today 's prediction specifically applies to DJIA and strongly DJIA correlated stocks. We are less certain if normally strong correlation with NASDAQ will hold today.

Following a possibly volatile opening of DJIA in the morning, the DJIA is likely to recover/rise smartly by late morning to shortly after mid day .

However in late afternoon ( say last 90 minutes of day's trade) there may be a strong dip followed by recovery.

These predictions will work best for indices and basket of stocks strongly correlated with DJIA( e.g NASDAQ)

Possible Intra day Strategy(ies):

1. Go long( buy) in the morning if the DJIA has opened negative or is weak or morning gain is less than 30 points. Buy certainly if DJIA dips (from any positive opening in morning or otherwise ) as is likely in early morning trade.

2. Go short (sell) in late afternoon ( 1.30-2.30pm approx) if indices are peaking just before this time period with trailing stop loss ( high risk strategy)
