"Review" of Unpublished Indian Stock Market Prediction

Our unpublished prediction for Friday September 16,2005 was

"Sensex likely to be volatile displaying definite both North-South movements more than once. First session (10-11.40) may see strong dip and rise. Strong recovery/. rise could also happen around mid session ( 11.40-1.40 pm). In last session sensex may lose much of its gains/recovery of preceding session......

Possible Intra day Strategy(ies):
Go long ( buy) in late morning around ( 11-11.30) as strong rise/recovery is possible around mid day to just about post noon .Go with a trailing stop loss"

Review:It would have been a reasonable good prediction. Sensex dipped 50 points in morning and rose massively to dip another 40 points in afternoon before recovering lost gains. However though sensex lost 40 points in last session it recovered. However even with imperfect predictions enormous profits would have been the outcome as we suggested "buy around 11-11.30". However we may add that our unpublished scrip prediction for 15 scrips would have given only 70-80% success. ( depending on whether "buy" recommendations would have been synchronized with market recovery.)
