Review of September 2005 Sensex Prediction

Our prediction for September 2005 was

"Unfortunately the cards for September are less clear than they were for August ( see review in a few minutes for August 2005 Prediction)1. First ten days to see big swing (rise-fall-rise).2. Sensex likely to cross the much awaited 8000 mark but probably not in the first ten days of September.

We also wrote in e-book 100 Predictions of year 2005 that September will be among the best months for this year for stock markets"

Review: What actually happened

Sensex crossed 8000 in first ten days of this month though in the very end ( 8 th September). Starting from about 7800, we had a bullish outlook for september hence predicted crossing of 8000 mark this month. That september was was one of the best months of the year is proven by a nearly 800 point jump in sensex this month i.e bulk of increase came in last twenty days ( read the rise for September month from 3 month Sensex chart above)
