We made a Mid day Call/prediction for tuesday September 27 2005 based on Tarot as

" If sensex fall in afternoon 12-1 pm steeply (over 40 points from preceding high) or continue its present fall ( at present at 8552). go long on Nifty as strong recovery/rise is likely in afternoon . Do so with trailing stop loss as it is not certain if all or any gains in the afternoon will hold till end."

Review of Prediction : What Really happened ( Link to Full Mid Day Prediction)

At around 11.40am we posted this prediction. Sensex fell steeply over 100 points after gaining over 99 points. This steep fall virtually ended at 1pm. However it made several attempts to gain. Rise/recovery/gains from a post afternoon low of over 60 points came in afternoon and even that was virtually frittered away.

Could you make money today by this call? Yes, If you put in implied strategy of going short between 12-1pm. By going long as recommended after this steep fall either you made profits or no loss-no gain depending on nature of Stop Loss used and your patience. You decide if this was a good call.
